This tournament says Canadian Citizen. What does that mean?

If you:

  • Currently live in Canada or
  • Have a Canadian passport or
  • Have a Canadian Visa

You can compete in this tournament.

I’ve qualified for the main event. Now what?

Congrats! You and your team must now travel to Regina, SK in order to compete in the live final. If you are one of the 8 teams to qualify, you and your team will receive $2000 with the opportunity to win more. To maintain competitive integrity, you will not be allowed to participate in any of the other qualifiers.

I’ve played in the first qualifier with a team, and I didn’t win and I didn’t get any points. Can I join a different team or do I have to play with the same one?

You can play with a completely different team if you like, or you can try to compete with the same one.

I’ve played in the qualifier, and I did win/receive circuit points. I left my old team and/or I’ve been replaced. Now what?

As long as that team still retains over 60% of the starting roster (3/5), those 3 players will retain the spot/retain the points. You can play with a completely new team if you wish.

Our team received circuit points, but we’ve completely disbanded. What happens to those points?

They are effectively null, and will disappear unless 3/5 of the roster decides to make a team under the same name at a later qualifier.

I have 4 friends that are Canadian, but I am not. Can I play in this tournament with my friends and just not come to the qualifier?

No. If any team is found to have a player that is not Canadian, they will be immediately disqualified at the time of discovery.
